My name is Amanda; and I'm the creator of this site. Basically; it was created to just put out my opinions on deployment and all that...somewhat fun jazz. So here they are. Feel free to email me if you have any thoughts;ideas;questions WHATEvER- at 'amjhdrummer@yahoo.com'. It was also created for those who don't want to dig through forums and such to get the info you want- may be looking for. If you wrote something; and want it on here; again- contact me. Poems; pictures, videos, all that stuff can be put on here. If you know of something that was written; and think it'd be a good aspect/help to this site, contact me- with the link to it; or file, or just it itself. I'd be glad to add anything.
And if you want some help, or have questions, and don't feel like emailing me, or you want several responses/opinions to the question.concern whatever, I highly recommend the web site "www.militarytimes.com/forums" As it has an AMAZING group of gals on their; who have helped me through SO much since Nov. of 07; and I'm sure will continue to be here for me through out the next few years...
I personally am going through a deployment right now; Well.. Was. We broke up because he doesn't want a relationship while in Iraq, but then turned around and is now dating someone else. But- he left over Christmas break- we broke up just before Valentines day, And I'm moving on. I'm doing good. It's...complicated. But I'm still here for him as a friend; and will continue to do so if no one gets mad at me. I just want to make sure he comes home safe- but he's still just a friend. [not sure how else to clarify that] ....And so - anyways; whether I like it or not; I'm still along for the ride. He's expected home in Dec... but enough about that.
A little bit about me- I'm a senior in HS; am 17 years old; I love music, reading, writing..poetry, art...lots of stuff. I have lots of hobbies...
